Hello all. This page is part 2 of the monopod tutorial. Here is part one. This is a tutorial on customizing a paint roller extension rod so it can be carried around on your back. You will need the extension rod, rope, and a hose clamp.

So at one end of the paint roller rod, I tied a string. I also added a dap of glue, because I don't trust my knots, as I did not make is to far in boy scouts :)

At the other end of the rod, I added the hose clamp and tied the string around it, then tightened it up. Note how the hose clamp is NOT on the part of the rod that extends.

The final product can be easily slung over your shoulder for easy transportation.
